FairTrade

fairtradeSt Leonard’s Church is a ‘Fairtrade Church’ and is therefore committed to supporting Fairtrade.  Producers often struggle to survive within a system of world trade that is not fair. Fairtrade means the producers get a more realistic and guaranteed price for their products.

As part of our commitment to Fairtrade, St Leonard’s serves only Fairtrade products (e.g. Tea, Coffee and sugar), as well as selling Fairtrade products through a regular Traidcraft stall.

The Tradicraft stall is now run on the first weekend of the month; at the Church coffee morning on Saturday and after the Sunday service.
