Sunday School

Our Sunday School is thriving and we need new people from September. Could you join our team and commit yourself to be on duty once per month?

Teachers are needed who are willing to lead the group. We use a teaching resource called Roots which provides all you need to prepare your lesson. If you have never taught before and want to try, you will receive help, I will work alongside you until you feel confident to go it alone.

Helpers are needed who simply offer an extra pair of hands to assist the teacher and keep the children safe. You do not need to be young or fit to do this task – just someone who enjoys being with the children.

Everyone who offers to work with the children will need to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau check.

Also wanted – people who are willing to tidy up the children’s corner in church once a month and report any broken toys, need for new paper and pens etc to me. so I can keep the area well stocked. The more people willing to do this the fewer times you will need to tackle the job e.g. if I have 6 volunteers you will only need to do it twice in a year.

Our New Vicar

After a short Interregnum we are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Vicar. Sue Burchell our current curate will join us sometime in October after a short break from her current duties. Please use the “contact Us” page for further information. The Church will continue to run as normal with some changes to daily services.

Section 12

Bishop Collin has agreed that the Section 12 meeting will be held on the 29th April 2010 at 7.30pm in the Church.

Please may we ask everyone to make every effort to attend.
