About Us

SLCPerhaps you are just browsing, or planning a visit. Either  way we would love to be of help, please do contact us.

St. Leonards is one of a group of five Church of England parishes within Banbury, situated in the Grimsbury area of the town. Our style of Worship is traditional, drawing on the richness of ritual and enhanced by the use of Incense and the sound of our choir. We are a very friendly congregation with a wide range of ages who are able to work together and support each other, both in Worship and during our regular weekly activities..

Our church is passionate about encouraging other people to both come to know God for themselves, and with us, to deepen our relationships with God. The church is a family, stressing the importance of living and working together, having fun along the way. Yet we are also outward looking, aiming to have an impact on the community around us.

All our church activities work towards these aims and St. Leonards is an exciting place to be. As you look further at our site, we hope you catch some of the sense of life that is here, and come and join us, we would love to meet you.
